1. Educational information—not professional representation

Collision SS, LLC provides general educational information, document explanation, collision-industry observations, and workflow support. Content and responses are not legal, insurance, engineering, financial, investment, medical, or tax advice. Collision SS is not a law firm, insurer, insurance producer, public adjuster, vehicle manufacturer, repair facility, or government agency.

Collision SS does not represent customers in insurance claims; negotiate or effect claim settlements; interpret coverage as a licensed professional; contact insurers or repairers as a customer's representative; direct a repair; certify roadworthiness; or guarantee payment, savings, repair quality, coverage, liability, or any other outcome.

General information cannot replace an in-person inspection or advice from a properly licensed attorney, public adjuster, registered repair facility, engineer, insurer, or other qualified professional. If a vehicle may be unsafe—especially after airbag deployment, structural damage, fluid loss, high-voltage damage, brake or steering concerns, or a safety warning—do not drive it. Arrange professional assessment or towing.

2. Independence and balanced claim information

Collision SS is not affiliated with an insurer or repair facility and does not receive payment for steering a visitor to a particular insurer, shop, parts source, video publisher, or map result. If a material sponsorship, referral fee, or other relationship ever affects content, it will be disclosed clearly near that content.

Collision SS may explain a vehicle owner's repair-facility choice, claim-handling rules, repair documentation, and disputed operations. That explanation does not establish that every requested shop charge is covered or payable. Claim outcomes depend on the facts, policy terms, applicable law, repair evidence, pricing evidence, and good-faith handling by the involved parties.

3. $5 Quick Question terms

The $5 Quick Question purchases one brief educational response delivered by email, based only on the information the customer supplies. It does not include document-by-document auditing, research requiring paid databases, a physical inspection, repair instructions, communications with third parties, emergency service, or continuing consultation.

Before paying, the customer must be at least 18 years old, provide a working email address, submit a lawful question within this scope, and agree to these terms. Collision SS may decline questions that require licensed representation, contain insufficient information, seek unsafe instructions, involve an emergency, request illegal conduct, or fall outside Collision SS's competence.

No attorney-client, fiduciary, adjuster-client, engineering, mechanic-customer, or other professional relationship is created. The customer remains responsible for decisions, verification, and professional assistance. The current service target is one concise answer within 24 hours, but no deadline is guaranteed unless Collision SS confirms it in writing.

4. $5 Repair Shop Research terms

The Recommended Repair Network service provides independent, public-information research based on the vehicle, location, and priorities the customer supplies. It is not a certification, endorsement, referral sale, repair-quality guarantee, repair direction, or promise that a listed facility is suitable for every operation.

Collision SS does not accept payment from repair facilities for placement in a customer response. Customers remain responsible for contacting facilities, confirming current capabilities, licenses, certifications, availability, pricing, warranty terms, and the vehicle-specific repair plan before authorizing work.

5. $49 Estimate Audit terms

The Estimate Audit is an educational, document-based review for a vehicle owner or repair facility. Findings are separated as observations, potential issues, supporting documentation needed, and questions to ask. A finding does not establish that an insurer legally owes an operation or that a repair charge is covered, necessary, or payable.

Repair-facility audits are intended to identify legitimate, vehicle-specific operations and documentation opportunities. Collision SS does not encourage inflated, duplicate, unsupported, or deceptive charges. The customer must verify all repair decisions against the vehicle, OEM information, applicable law, contracts, and qualified professionals.

Submitted files are delivered privately to Collision SS for the purchased review and are not published, shared with other users, or used to train external AI systems without permission. Browser image preparation removes ordinary embedded metadata before upload where supported; customers should still redact unnecessary identifiers. Operational email and payment records are retained only as reasonably needed for delivery, tax, security, and dispute purposes.

5. Review inquiries and document handling

A review inquiry is an unpaid request for Collision SS to identify whether a proposed document review, educational analysis, or repair-facility workflow engagement is within scope. Submitting the form does not purchase a service or create representation. Collision SS will explain the proposed scope and price before paid work begins.

Do not send sensitive or unredacted records until Collision SS identifies which documents are needed. Remove Social Security numbers, payment-card data, passwords, medical records, driver's-license images, unrelated addresses, children's information, and other unnecessary identifiers. Claim numbers and license plates should be redacted when they are not material to the question.

6. Refund and cancellation policy

A customer may request cancellation and a full refund before Collision SS begins reviewing a Quick Question or Estimate Audit. If Collision SS declines the submission or cannot provide a meaningful response within the stated scope, Collision SS will refund the service payment. After a substantive response is delivered, the service is generally nonrefundable, except where required by law or where Collision SS determines the service was not delivered as described.

Request a refund by emailing Joseph.Marino@collisionss.com with the payer's name, payment date, and email address. Do not email full payment-card information.

7. Privacy and analytics notice

The public VIN tool sends a VIN directly from the visitor's browser to the U.S. Department of Transportation's NHTSA vPIC service. Collision SS does not intentionally store VIN entries through that tool. Links to Google, Google Maps, YouTube, NHTSA, Stripe, New York government sources, and other third parties are governed by those services' privacy practices.

VIN and paint-label photo OCR is performed in the visitor's browser. The image is not uploaded to Collision SS merely to read its characters. User corrections are treated as unverified submissions unless corroborated; they do not automatically overwrite vehicle or paint facts.

When a person emails Collision SS, submits a review inquiry, or purchases a service, Collision SS may receive a name, email address, telephone number, vehicle information, question, document summary, correspondence, and payment confirmation. Stripe handles card information; Collision SS does not ask customers to send card numbers by email.

Collision SS uses Vercel Web Analytics to measure aggregate page visits and events such as audience-path selection, tool use, video interaction, checkout starts, confirmed payments, and inquiry submissions. The integration is designed for first-party, privacy-conscious measurement. Collision SS does not intentionally place personal question text, VINs, email addresses, telephone numbers, claim numbers, or Stripe session identifiers in analytics events.

Information is used to respond, deliver purchased services, maintain ordinary business and tax records, prevent abuse, improve the website, and comply with law. Collision SS does not sell personal information. Records are kept only as reasonably needed for those purposes and then deleted or anonymized where practical.

To request access, correction, or deletion of information held by Collision SS, email Joseph.Marino@collisionss.com. Some information may be retained when legally required or needed for legitimate records, disputes, or security.

8. Public sources, links, videos, and intellectual property

Vehicle, recall, repair-education, video, map, and legal information may come from independent third parties. Collision SS links to the original source when practical but does not control that source's availability, accuracy, completeness, licensing rules, or later changes. Safety-critical, legal, coverage, and purchasing decisions should be verified with the appropriate original source and qualified professional.

Third-party names and marks belong to their owners and are used only to identify sources or services. Links do not imply endorsement or affiliation. YouTube thumbnails and linked videos remain with their original publishers. Collision SS commentary is editorial education, not a representation that a linked source has endorsed Collision SS.

Copyright, accuracy, or source concerns may be sent to Joseph.Marino@collisionss.com.

8. Contact, governing law, and policy changes

Collision SS, LLC serves the Bronx, New York City, and Westchester area. Questions about these policies can be emailed to Joseph.Marino@collisionss.com.

These terms are governed by New York law without waiving any nonwaivable consumer right. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. Policies may be updated as services change; the effective date above identifies the current version.
